Recycling Materials

At Superior Walls of North Carolina, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices. We recycle Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam waste using a densifier, which significantly reduces the volume of waste generated during manufacturing. This practice not only helps in managing waste more efficiently but also supports our broader sustainability goals by ensuring that the materials we use are handled responsibly.

Our panels feature a continuous layer of high-density foam insulation, creating a tight thermal envelope that reduces energy costs. The design allows for easy addition of further insulation, achieving higher R-values and maximizing energy efficiency.

Superior Walls’ combination of built-in insulation and high-strength concrete minimizes energy loss, providing an exceptional thermal envelope that conserves energy and enhances home comfort.

Built-in insulation in our Xi Wall system features R-16 ratings, with the option to add more insulation to achieve an R-value of up to R-42+. This design helps significantly lower energy costs by minimizing thermal transfer.

Our engineered wall panels reduce the need for excess materials like wood and concrete, lowering the carbon footprint of your home’s construction. This efficient use of resources supports sustainable building practices and environmental conservation.

Superior Walls’ high-strength concrete, with a lower water-to-cement ratio, prevents moisture transfer and improves indoor air quality by reducing the risk of mold growth. A dry basement ensures a healthier living environment.

Our factory-controlled production process ensures panels arrive ready to install, minimizing on-site waste and reducing environmental impact. This efficient production supports green building initiatives and site sustainability.

Superior Walls products contribute to building Energy Star-qualified homes and are NGBS Green Certified. These certifications recognize our commitment to resource efficiency, energy efficiency, and indoor environmental quality, supporting sustainable construction practices.
